VASL JUNIOR SHOW AMBASSADOR
Steward: Lyndall Horne
The Victorian Agricultural Shows Ltd (VASL) Junior Show Ambassador Award highlights and celebrates rural and regional young people, with a particular emphasis on candidates involved who are involved in their local shows. The award seeks to draw attention to the talent, creativity and ingenuity of rural youth in NSW and Victoria, and in doing so, encourages candidates to become engaged citizens across local communities.

Competition is open to individuals aged between 16 and 19 years on the day of their local Show. Berrigan Show is part of the Goulburn Valley Riverina Shows Association (GVRSA) Group for the Junior Show Ambassador Award. The winner at Berrigan Show goes on to compete in the GVRSA Group level in April. One winner is selected from the ten affiliated show societies to go and represent GVRSA in the State Final held at the VASL State Convention in late June or early July.

Further information on the Berrigan Show Junior Show Ambassador including judging criteria is available in our show schedule. Further information on the state wide competition can be found at www.vicagshows.com.au/junior-ambassador-award
