VAS  Junior  Show  Ambassador

The aims of the Victorian Agricultural Shows (VAS) Junior Show Ambassador is to have the opportunity to partake in a competition, whilst still residing i n their local district; contribute to a local show and meet likeminded people with similar interests. The competitions is open to entrants aged 16-19 years at the time of the local show.

Judging is based on a semi-formal interview encompassing the following:

  • Community and/or Show Involvement
  • General and Rural Knowledge
  • Ambitions and Goals
  • Communication Skills
  • Personality and Confidence
  • Overall Presentation

Berrigan is part of the Goulburn Valley Riverina Shows Association (GVRSA) Group for the Junior Show Ambassador. Enterants are judged at local level, the winner then goes on to compete in the GVRSA Group level in Shepparton, April 2010. One winner is selected from the 12 affiliated GVRSA show societies to go on and represent GVRSA in the State Final held in June every year.
